Atlanta, GA - Powerful vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and former Atlantic recording artist Kelly Keeling (Baton Rouge, MSG, Guitar Zeus, John Norum) could very well be one of the busiest musicians in the biz. After recently completing his own solo project which is slated for release in March, 2005 on Mascot Records, forming his own touring band, working with Don Dokken on the July, 2004 Dokken CD release "Hell to Pay", recording a George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) album, touring the country for six weeks with the George Lynch Band, and touring in the USA and Europe with Erik Norlander, Keeling is now ready for five acoustic concerts of his own in the Atlanta area.
"Keeling´s new music will grab your soul with intensity. The power his voice had when performing and recording with heavier rock acts in the past is still prominently evident and is now converted to pure emotion, conveying his poignant life experience in lyrics with astonishing effect. You can hear influences from Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Temple of the Dog, and Deep Purple, but Kelly´s own talent in songwriting, vocalizing and instrumental abilities is the real star here." - Music Morsels
Keeling will perform retrospective concerts featuring both his older and newer song collaborations along with his renditions of cover tunes, and feature surprise special guests from the Atlanta music community at some of his concerts. Keeling will also be giving away a limited amount of CD samplers at each show. His concert schedule includes:
